After many years of living on a very steep block, in a small house, Keith decided to “down” size, in more ways than one!

Keith has known for some time his block was likely to be developed by the new owner, but Keith does not really care. For a site of nearly 1000 sqm in Balwyn there is a limited development buyer market but after a slow start the campaign built and on auction day a very good sale of $1.5M was achieved.

Whilst the sales campaign was being run, as a Buyers Agent, I was already searching the market, with very clear brief for a 2 bedroom home on its own block, inspecting in my client’s preferred suburbs, finally hitting on just what he wanted. After nearly week of negotiations we secure it, for about half the sale price of the old home.

Time has moved on and next month the sale Keith’s steep sloping large block, with an old home, will be settled.

No longer on a big sloping block, Keith has” come down from the mountain” to move into his comfortable, single level home, with all modern conveniences, on a smaller level block, minutes from the parklands he loves.
